A must-visit on Bruny Island, The Neck has breathtaking views of the middle of the Bruny isthmus following walking up a series of steps. Sometimes you will see those little penguins’ footprints in the morning. It’s best to visit on a nice clear day or after sunset for penguin watching. There is a penguin lookout point near the beach. The beach on The Neck is spectacular with clear blue water and is ideal for a leisurely walk.

It’s an inactive lighthouse located in the South Bruny National Park, about (26.4 km) 35–40 minutes drive from Alonnah.
